Visitors mirror the growing reputation of an institute. IIIT-Hyd boasts of a great lineage of visitors from both India and abroad and from all disciplines from POLITICS to ACADEMICS to DEFENCE.

Here are just a few personalities who have visited the Institute.:

• From the political sector we have His Highness Mr. Anerood Juganauth, Prime Minister of Mauritius. He visited the institute on 19th of Febraury, 2001

• Mr.Pramod Mahajan , Central Minister for Information Technology, along with a group of M.P's ,was kind enough to spare his time and visit the institute on 18th of January,2001.

• Mr.Alexander, Governor of Maharashtra and Goa , has toured the campus

• Mr.M.M.Rajendran, Governor of Orissa has also visited the campus on 6th of April,2001 and was impressed with the infrastructure and facilities available in the institute.

• Mr.Lalit ManSingh, the Foreign Secretary has also been one of the distinguished persons to have visited the institute . He visited the campus on 13th of Febraury,2001..
